My story

My name is Ken and I’m the founder of Figment Landscapes, specialising in bespoke artificial greenery and landscaping for commercial, retail and hospitality spaces across Australia.

My background spans design, branded environments, spatial styling and large scale project delivery - experiences that ultimately led to the creation of Figment Landscapes. With a Bachelor of Applied Design and years working across commercial interiors, hospitality and architectural spaces, I developed a strong understanding of how thoughtful design can shape the entire feel of a space.

Working alongside architects, builders, designers and brands across a wide range of projects has shaped the way I approach every installation today - balancing creativity, practicality and detail to create spaces that feel considered, immersive and connected to their environment.

For me, artificial landscaping should never feel generic or copy and paste. The plant selection matters, the styling matters, and most importantly, the installation should feel aligned with the architecture, branding and overall experience of the space.

I started Figment Landscapes to combine strong design thinking with premium artificial landscaping solutions that elevate hospitality venues, retail environments, office fit outs and commercial spaces across Australia.

I care deeply about quality, detail and collaboration and I enjoy working closely with clients to create outcomes that genuinely transform a space.

And yes, they’re fake. But if people have to double check, I know I’ve done my job properly.
